About Me...

My LX200

This is my Meade 10“ LX200 GPS. I love this scope. I guess I got lucky with the optics because they are superb. I built this rig for portability and stability. I will eventually add a wedge to this setup and since the entire base of the wedge will be supported without being cantelevered on a tripod, it will be very rigid with no flex whatsoever.

Here you see the “Sled/Dolly”. It lets me roll out from my Garage to my driveway in seconds. Leveling is a snap and accurate. The nice things about this rig, is that it tips right over and slides on the rails into the back of my truck.

These two small latches are all that it takes to hold the sled/dolly in place during transport. It's designed so the parts key into each other. It's very secure without being cumbersome to attach and remove.

Ready to observe.
