Galaxies M74 from Kitt Peak Previous Next Enlarge to Full Size Date: 10/7/2005 A bunch of us from the RASC contributed to renting some time on the Kitt Peak 20"RC so we could share the data. The data acquisition itself was done by Paul Mortfield and Dietmar Kupke between Oct 5th and 7th. 20"RC at f/8.3 ST10XME, Paramount ME, AO7, AstroDon filters Lum: 13x10min 1x1 binning RGB: 4x10min each 2x2 binning. Calibrated, Debloomed, RC Sigma Reject Combine and colour stacking in MaximDL. Luminance was layered with RGB data in Photoshop using FITS Liberator using a log stretch.
